Our Key Pillars

Disaster Risk Reduction & Conflict Prevention

The programme strives to enhance the resilience of cross-border communities and stakeholders in the borderlands of Kenya, Somalia, and Ethiopia to adapt to crises, respond to them, and fortify their disaster risk reduction and stabilisation mechanisms.

Peacebuilding Linkage Among Cross-Border Stakeholders

The programme supports mechanisms for building sustainable peace by bridging gaps between various stakeholders, including the communities and authorities at local, national, and regional levels in the borderland areas.

Income Generation for Youth and Women

We employ a market systems approach to create sustainable economic pathways to expand access to income-generating opportunities for women and youth in marginalised borderland communities, empower them and strengthen their financial resilience.

Support Communities Resilience to Climate Change

In response to the growing growing challenges of climate change and environmental degradation, our initiatives focus on equipping borderland communities with the tools and knowledge to adapt their livelihoods to growing reality of climate change and adapt their livelihoods.
