The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) has received a grant from European Union Trust Fund for Africa (EUTF) and hereby invite all qualified consultants to participate in the tendering for the supply of an end of line evaluation of the Boresha project which has been implemented in various areas across Kenya, Somaila and Ethiopia.

The end of line evaluation is to document key achievements, gaps, challenges, lessons, and recommendations for future programming in resilience in volatile context.

DRC therefore kindly invite all interested, eligible & qualified consultants to participate & respond to the tender by submission of bids according to requirements outlined in the tender document package.

The Boresha Project, funded from the European Union Emergency Trust Fund for Africa (EUTF) under grant agreement No T05-EUTF-HoA-REG-26.02 foresees as an eligible activity the provision of financial support to third parties, as a means to achieve its own objectives. To qualify for receiving financial support, applicants have to submit applications before the 14/02/2019 for projects that will encourage local economic development, job and wealth creation, the growth and diversification of the local economy through the development of existing businesses and the pursuit of new opportunities in the designated 42 project areas in Mandera County, Gedo region and Dollo ado and Dollo Bay woreda. The grant fund has two components: “Start your business” for start-up, emerging, micro and informal business entities and “Grow your business” for more established, expanding, small or medium businesses. Expected duration of participation: 12 months

Maximum amount of financial support for each third party: Euro 5 000 for the “Start your business” component and Euro 10 000 for the “Grow your business” component.
